About ABA in PA
Our Story
ABA in PA is a 501 ©(4) lobbying non-profit organization.
The ABAinPA Initiative was founded in 2012 by a small group of passionate families and professionals advocating for improved access to, and quality of, ABA therapy in Pennsylvania. The initiative has since grown from a small grassroots network to the largest ABA advocacy organization in the state. Using their collective voice, they brought a bill for Behavior Analyst Licensure through the House of Representatives, which currently rests with the Senate, to benefit all Pennsylvanians and ABA professionals.
Continued progress securing access to quality ABA requires committed action. Knowing this, members continue to demonstrate their commitment by providing amazing resources (i.e., PPE during COVID-19, agency directory), opportunities for collaboration and mentorship, professional development through conferences and webinars, and ongoing legislative advocacy with no signs of slowing down.
